- Bear with me if what I am about to ask seems simple. Recently
- installed AMITCP/PPP1_3 to access the net via my ISP. Everything
- works just fine. Got the latest version of Ibrowse (0.73) and it also
- seems to run okay. What I am concerned about are the colors on the
- pages. I am running an 8 color WB, Enhanced Chip set, Magic WB
- installed, on a high res interlaced screen. (A3000). All the colors
- on the Ibrowse pages seem to conform to the colors on my WB. What I
- am trying to figure out is how do I get the true intended colors of
- the page designers?
-
- I realize a graphics card with millions of colors is what I eventually
- need but is there a way to get a truer depiction with 8 or 16 colors.
-
- I guess I am so used to Netscape on my PC at work with its color
- palette.
-
- Should I be opening Ibrowse on it's own screen and not on WB?
-
- I hope you get the idea I am trying to express albeit poorly.
-
- The other day I clicked on a graphic image to display but after
- loading nothing happend. (What I mean here is to view a JPEG for
- example as a seperate item) I had the internal viewer set as on but
- even when I turned it off so as to use the external viewer (multiview)
- nothing. Again when I do this in Netscape the large image shows on
- the screen.

- All comments and suggestions are appreciated
